Garnerwood
offers a free daily sawlog recovery service to Arborists and the general
public.
We
collect sawlogs of any species and understand the importance of responding
quickly when logs need to be removed from site following felling.
Before
a log can be considered for recovery the following criteria must be
met:
1. The log must be solid (i.e. not
rotten).
2. The log must be reasonably straight.
3. The log needs to meet the minimum dimensional specifications: greater
than 1.2m length, and more than 400mm (40cm) in width/diameter
There
are limitations to the distance that we are able to travel to pick
up logs and for that reason not all logs meeting the specifications
above will be able to be recovered.
